Senator Kevin Bacon (R–Minerva Park) today released the following statement regarding the news that Ohio’s unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest level since February 2008:
“Over the past three years, Ohioans have created more than 250,000 private sector jobs, and today our unemployment rate is lower than it has been since 2008. What we are doing in Ohio is working and we are getting back on the right track so our friends, neighbors, and family members can continue to find hope and opportunity right here in central Ohio."
“I will continue focusing my efforts on the economy and workforce development so we can adjust to the rapidly changing business climate of our state and nation.”
