COLUMBUS - State Senator Troy Balderson (R-Zanesville) announced the approval of state funds to provide housing for individuals struggling with addiction as they seek treatment and recovery services. 

Members of the Ohio Controlling Board approved the release of $60,000 for the renovation of a house located in Cambridge, Ohio that will be used for up to five individuals undergoing alcohol and drug addiction services.

“This investment will provide a safe living environment for individuals as they receive the treatment and support needed to overcome their addiction," said Balderson. 

As a condition of the state support, Alcohol and Drug Services of Guernsey County has committed to providing mental health treatment services at this location for up to 30 years.
