COLUMBUS– State Senator Troy Balderson (R–Zanesville) was honored Tuesday by the American Conservative Union (ACU) as an ACU Conservative, the second highest award given by the organization. Senator Balderson received the award during a ceremony this morning in the Ladies Gallery of the Ohio Statehouse.

“I am proud of the work we’ve done in Ohio over the past two years to streamline government and create a stronger private sector with more opportunity for all Ohioans,” said Balderson. “I am grateful to the ACU for recognizing our work in the Ohio Statehouse.”

The ACU Conservative Award recognizes Senator Balderson’s conservative voting record during the 2012 session of the 129th General Assembly.

The American Conservative Union is based out of Alexandria, Virginia.
