Senator Balderson accepts Legislator of the Year honors from Erin L. Miller, Chair of the Ohio Speech and Hearing Governmental Affairs Coalition
Columbus - 
State Senator Troy Balderson's (R - Zanesville) was honored Tuesday for his work regarding Ohio speech and hearing initiatives. The Ohio Speech and Hearing Governmental Affairs Coalition applauded the efforts of the Zanesville lawmaker in the Statehouse Atrium. The Coalition, which composes four of Ohio's leading speech and audiology associations, cited Senator Balderson's work on behalf of their constituency. Some of that work composed of the passage of Senate Bill 247, Balderson's sponsored bill which established July 9 as Ohio "Traumatic Brain Injury Day". The state senator has also introduced legislation to designate May as "Better Hearing and Speech Month."
Senator Balderson represents the 20th Senate District of Ohio, which is made up of Athens, Coshocton, Guernsey, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, and Washington Counties

COLUMBUS - State Senator Troy Balderson (R-Zanesville) today announced that the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has awarded $700,000 aimed at supporting efforts to expand Ohio’s small business markets overseas.
