State Senator Dave Burke (R–Marysville) today announced the Ohio Controlling Board released $120,000 in Roadwork Development Grants for costs associated with roadwork improvements for Greenville Technology, Inc.'s project in Marysville.

“Greenville Technology is one of many very important businesses in our region that helps to supply jobs and increased economic development,” said Burke. “This is a small investment that, quite literally, will pave the way for job creation.”

Roadwork Development Grants are awarded for public roadwork improvements that support the expansion or attraction of businesses.

Improvements that are made possible by this grant will include the widening of Industrial Parkway along the property frontage as well as pavement removal, excavation, embankment construction, compaction, hydrant relocation, erosion control, coating and sealant, walkway addition, maintenance of traffic, and pavement markings.

As a result of the project, 50 new, full-time jobs will be created and 32 existing positions will be retained.
