Burke Announces Marysville Company Awarded State Loan
Veyance Technologies, Inc. To Create 15 Jobs And Retain Nearly 400

State Senator Dave Burke (R- Marysville) announced today that the Development Financing Advisory Council has approved a $2 million loan for Veyance Technologies, Inc. located in Marysville. The loan will be used to purchase machinery and equipment needed for Veyance to expand its manufacturing capacity and meet customer demand. Veyance has committed to creating 15 new jobs and retaining 398 others as a result of this project, and will also fund the balance of the $5 million in machinery and equipment costs. "This loan will allow Veyance to better meet the needs of its customers in the agriculture industry and create new jobs in the process," Burke said. "I commend company and state officials for working together to bring this project to fruition and for their commitment to bringing and keeping jobs here in central Ohio." Veyance was established in 1997 and manufactures conveyor belts, industrial hoses and tank tracks used by the agriculture and military industries. The loan now awaits final approval by the state Controlling Board.
