COLUMBUS– State Senator Dave Burke (R–Marysville) today honored Makayla Dull, the 2013 Division II State Girls’ Golf Champion. Makayla is a junior at Lakota High School and is the first individual from Lakota to win the Division II girls state golf title. She won the championship by five strokes.

“Makayla has been in the top 10 in the state for each of her first two years in varsity golf at Lakota,” said Burke. “Her drive and talent have led her to a well-deserved championship, and I’m sure we’ll be seeing more from her.”
