State Senator Dave Burke (R- Marysville), who owns and operates a pharmacy in Marysville in addition to his legislative duties, recently spoke to a group of pharmacy students at The Ohio State University. Burke talked with the group about how his background as a pharmacist helped him in drafting legislation - now law - that deals with the dangers of prescription drug abuse. He also discussed health care and other issues that will impact the role of a pharmacist in the future as well as the importance of communicating with elected officials
