COLUMBUS—State Senator Matt Dolan (R-Chagrin Falls) applauds the teachers and administrators of seven top public high schools in Northeast Ohio, recently ranked by U.S. News and World Report.

Rocky River High School, Bay High School, Independence High School, Westlake High School, Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School, Chagrin Falls High School, and Solon High School were among the 15 named in the 2017 report.

"This recognition speaks to the level of commitment our educators have to academic excellence," said Senator Dolan. "These high schools are preparing students of all backgrounds, helping them to achieve higher levels of learning and equipping them for future success."

U.S. News and World Report ranks schools based on college readiness and performance indicators, including data on more than 22,000 public schools in 50 states.
