Senator Hoagland joined by Ohio University's Speech and Debate Team at the Ohio Statehouse.
COLUMBUS - State Senator Frank Hoagland (R-Mingo Junction) today presented a resolution to Ohio University's Speech and Debate Team, the Speaking Bobcats, for winning the Division III Speech Sweepstakes at the Public Communication Speech and Debate League National Tournament in early April.

"It is a privilege to recognize such hard working, intelligent students," said Senator Hoagland. "I am proud of the way they have represented themselves and the Ohio University community with this achievement. I look forward to hearing of their future success."

The Speaking Bobcats have won 13 national team championships, 97 individual championships and more than 300 state championships since 1970.
