COLUMBUS—State Senator Jay Hottinger (R-Newark) recently received the "Friend of Agriculture" distinction for his support of Ohio's agricultural industry as a member of the Ohio General Assembly.

“I’m honored to receive the Friend of Agriculture award and proud to support the state's largest industry at the Ohio Statehouse," said Hottinger. 

Leaders from the Coshocton County Farm Bureau presented Hottinger with the award during a special presentation at the Coshocton County Fair. 

“Friend of Agriculture” is a distinction for elected officials who have supported the public policy goals representing the interests of the agricultural community.
