General Ashenhurst joins Senator LaRose to present a resolution honoring Joshua Yoho (surrounded by his family) as the 2014 Military Youth of the Year
COLUMBUS -

State Senator Frank LaRose (R–Copley) today recognized Joshua Yoho, a Cuyahoga Falls native, on becoming Operation: Military Kids’ “Military Youth of the Year” today at the Ohio Statehouse. The son of Lt. Col. William and Elizabeth Yoho, Joshua has been involved with the organization since 2006, first as a camper, then as a counselor.

“Josh is an outstanding young man who has given a great deal of his time to work with and mentor children from Ohio's military families,” said LaRose. “He’s shown a great deal of leadership, compassion, and character and has grown into an outstanding role model for us all.”

A 2011 graduate of Woodrige High School in Peninsula, Ohio, Yoho was chosen for the honor for his patience and kindness in relating to the campers, all of whom come from military families. Yoho is currently attending the University of Dayton where he is double majoring in Biochemistry and Biology.
