College Affordability
All 43 of Ohio's public universities and colleges responded to Senate President Keith Faber's (R-Celina) challenge to reduce tuition costs by 5%. Many universities are coming up with innovative ways to reduce student costs, and this week we had an opportunity to speak with Miami University President David Hodge.

Addiction Recovery Efforts
Several senators visited Hamilton County's Center for Addiction Treatment to learn more about rehabilitation programs offering hope to individuals recovering from drug, alcohol and gambling addictions.

Value of Co-Curricular School Activities
Senator Cliff Hite (R-Findlay) kicked off a statewide tour in Columbus to hear from parents, educators and other interested parties about the importance of co-curricular school activities as well as student athlete safety. Senator Hite will be holding additional public discussions this month in Findlay, Cleveland and Dayton.
