Columbus -
State Senator Frank LaRose (R- Akron) was recently named a "Watchdog of the Treasury" by the United Conservatives of Ohio at an event in Columbus. The award is given to legislators who have demonstrated their commitment to government efficiency and fiscal responsibility.

"Since coming to the Statehouse, I have sought to ensure that our limited taxpayer dollars are spent wisely, and I am honored to be recognized for these efforts," LaRose said. "Ohioans want leaders who are willing to make the tough decisions regarding our finances, and I will continue to fulfill that role in the months ahead."

The United Conservatives of Ohio advocate for public policy that promotes free enterprise, low taxes and greater efficiency in government.
Senator Frank LaRose represents the 27th Ohio Senate District, which includes part of Summit County. He currently serves as Chairman of Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review and Vice Chairman of the Senate Highways and Transportation Committee.
