Senator Manning looks on as the Governor allows Gino Zimmer from the Honor Foundation to dot the "i" in Kasich
STATEHOUSE - 

Senator Gayle Manning (R–North Ridgeville) today joined Governor John Kasich as he signed into law a bill that will memorialize a portion of State Route 58 within Lorain County as the "Sgt. Louis Torres Memorial Highway” in honor of a local fallen soldier.  Torres was killed in the line of duty at the age of 23 on August 22, 2012 from wounds sustained from a blast in Kandahar, Afghanistan on August 6, 2012.

Louis Torres grew up in Lorain, Ohio where he attended Lorain County Joint Vocational School in Oberlin. You can learn more about Sgt. Torres from this earlier published release.
