STATEHOUSE -

Senator Gayle Manning (R- North Ridgeville) today announced the approval of $825,563 to Lorain County Community College (LCCC) for additional improvements to its Physical Sciences building.

“As a former school teacher, I understand that learning space is an important factor in student success,” said Manning. “The new renovations at LCCC will provide a conducive learning environment to support students as they complete their degrees and transition into the workforce.”

The approval of these funds follows LCCC’s initial request for $1,549,625 in funds for the construction phase of the Physical Sciences building renovation, approved by the Ohio Controlling Board earlier this summer.

The funds approved today will further provide furnishings, audio-visual equipment, instructional technology and building signage for the partial interior renovation phase of the project.
