State Senator Gayle Manning (R–North Ridgeville) today announced that funds have been finalized to Lorain County Community College as part of the Board of Regents Small Campus Targeted Workforce Development Expansion Projects program.
“With hands-on academic programs that are linked to the demands of Ohio’s key regional industries, LCCC is establishing itself as a leader in preparing its students for success while investing in our local economy,” said Manning. “I look forward to LCCC’s continued innovation in workforce development as it builds upon northeast Ohio’s rich history of manufacturing.”
The Ohio Controlling Board this afternoon approved the transfer of $16,0000,000 to the Board of Regents to administer the program.  Of the total funds approved today, Lorain County Community College will receive $2,500,000 to renovate and expand the Nord Advanced Digital Manufacturing & Engineering Technology Center.
