State Senator Gayle Manning (R-North Ridgeville) announced the beginning of this year’s annual Legislative Scholarship Program, sponsored by the Ohio Association of Career Colleges and Schools. The program offers over 220 scholarship opportunities worth more than $1 million to graduating high school seniors in Ohio.
“The Legislative Scholarship Program presents an incredible opportunity for the youth in Ohio to attend an institution that will provide them with the tools necessary to enter the workforce,” said Manning. “Ohio needs to develop the skills of talented young people who will continue to strengthen the economy of our state, and the Legislative Scholarship Program does just that.”
In order to be eligible for the program, applicants must obtain the signature of a State Representative or State Senator on their Legislative Nomination Form. The scholarship application deadline is April 10, 2015. Scholarship packets, nomination forms, and additional information can be found at
