(L to R) Logan Stieber receives resolution from Senator Manning during a session of the Ohio Senate.
State Senator Gayle Manning (R-North Ridgeville) today honored Ohio State University Wrestling Team member Logan Stieber for winning the 2015 NCAA title for the 141 lb. weight class.

"Logan's hard work and perseverance both as a wrestler and as a student should serve as an example worth emulating for all student athletes" said Manning.

Stieber, a senior studying business administration, became the fourth wrestler in the state to win four individual NCAA championships.

The Monroeville High School graduate holds the distinction for being the first Ohio State wrestler to earn four Big Ten championships and was recently awarded NCAA Most Dominant Wrestler.

"In perspective, twelve men have been to the moon, but only four men in history have been awarded four consecutive Big Ten championships like Logan has done," said Tom Ryan, Ohio State's head wrestling coach.
