State Senator Gayle Manning (R - North Ridgeville), a retired teacher, addressed a group of education professionals and child care stakeholders today in Columbus. Members of the Ohio Afterschool Network (OAN), Ohio Association of Child Care Providers (OACCP), and Child Care Resource and Referral Agency (OCCRA) were on hand to hear the North Ridgeville lawmaker talk about the importance of afterschool programs and early childhood education across Ohio. The various stakeholder groups were in Columbus to conduct legislative visits with members of the Ohio Senate and House of Representatives.
