COLUMBUS -

State Senator Larry Obhof (R-Medina) joined Main Street Medina and the Medina Area Chamber of Commerce to recognize the Main Street Lighting Co., which expanded its operations at 1080 Industrial Parkway.

"Medina is a great place to start and grow a small business," said Obhof. "The town's proximity to important markets, growing tourism and proactive support of business expansion efforts contribute to this community's success and help to make Medina a great place to live, work and raise a family."

Officials from the city of Medina, the Medina Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Medina visited the company for a special ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the milestone.

Main Street Lighting, owned by Bernard McRae, was recognized for its recent expansion at 1080 Industrial Parkway. The company manufactures decorative street lighting poles and other specialty lighting products.
