President Obhof addresses hundreds of pro-life supporters during annual Roe Remembrance event.

COLUMBUS—Ohio Senate President Larry Obhof (R-Medina) today joined hundreds of pro-life supporters at the Statehouse for the annual Roe Remembrance event. The event, organized by the Greater Columbus Right to Life chapter, is a local option for Ohioans who cannot attend the national March for Life rally in Washington D.C. later this week.

"From Washington D.C. to communities around our state, thousands of Americans will be marching this week for those who will never be able to march for themselves," Obhof said at the event. "I'm proud to join with you to protect the lives of the unborn. Together we've put Ohio on the map as one of our nation's most life-affirming, life-protecting states."

In the last six years, the Ohio Senate has passed more significant legislation to defend unborn children and protect their right to life than at any time since the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling 44 years ago.
