State Senator Larry Obhof (R-Medina) joined Main Street Medina and the Medina Area Chamber of Commerce to recognize Family Dental Care of Medina, which expanded its dentistry office at 890 Court Street.

"Medina is a great place to start and grow a small business," said Obhof. "The town's proximity to important markets, growing tourism and proactive support of business expansion efforts contribute to this community's success and help to make Medina a great place to live, work and raise a family."

Officials from the city of Medina, the Medina Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Medina visited the company for a special ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the milestone.

Family Dental Care of Medina, owned by Dr. Matthew J. Kirlough, was recognized for its recent expansion at 890 North Court Street. Family Dental of Medina provides a wide variety of general, cosmetic and restorative dental services for its patients. Dr. Kirlough spent 16 years at Metro Health Medical Center, where he worked as the medical center's vice chairman for the Department of Oral Health. He is a former president of the OSU Dental Alumni Society and an active member of the Ohio Dental Association and the Greater Cleveland Dental Society, where he currently serves as a board trustee.
