COLUMBUS - 

State Senator Larry Obhof (R-Medina) visited the Village of Millersburg on Saturday to celebrate its bicentennial. Senator Obhof presented Mayor Jeff Huebner with a Senate Resolution recognizing Millersburg's 200th anniversary. Obhof presented the resolution to Mayor Huebner at the historic Holmes County Courthouse.
 
"Today, we recognize the major contributions that the people of Millersburg have made to our state and nation over the last 200 years,” Obhof said. “It is an honor to represent such a fine community, and I am confident that Millersburg will have a future as vibrant as its past."  
 
Millersburg, Ohio was first established by Adam Johnson and Charles Miller, the village's namesake, in November of 1815.
 
Located in northeast Ohio, Millersburg is the county seat of Holmes County and is home to just over 3,000 residents, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
