In response to today's announcement regarding the planned redevelopment of the former GM Stamping Plant in Ontario, State Senator Larry Obhof (R- Medina) issued the following statement:

"This is a tremendous opportunity for the entire community, as it will bring new jobs and breathe new life into the former GM Stamping Plant. Redeveloping the site will be a major undertaking, and I commend those who are investing in Ohio's workers.

"As this project moves ahead, I am hopeful that we can attract additional business development and job creation to Northern Ohio."
