Pro-Football Hall of Famer, Bill Willis, is currently being recognized as a “Great Ohioan” in an exhibit at the Ohio Statehouse.  This football hero was signed by Paul Brown in 1946 making history as one of the first African-American pro-football players. Willis was legendary for his speed and agility on the field.

The Pro-Football Hall of Fame is located in Stark County, which is Senate District 29 represented by Sen. Scott Oelslager (R-North Canton).
