Ohio Senate President Keith Faber (R–Celina) selected State Senator Joe Uecker (R–Miami Township) for three leadership roles in the Ohio Senate today. 
 
Throughout the 131st General Assembly, Senator Uecker will be serving as Chairman of the Senate Finance Subcommittee on Corrections as well as Vice Chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee and Co-Chairman of the Joint Committee on Agency Rule and Review (JCARR).
 
“In addition to continuing my service on JCARR, I am really looking forward to the opportunity to serve on the Senate Agriculture Committee,” said Uecker. “Agriculture is very important to the constituents of the 14th Senate District and I look forward to working with my colleagues in helping to improve the industry throughout Ohio.”
 
In addition to his leadership roles on these committees, Senator Uecker will also be continuing his service as Chairman of the Broadband and Technology Caucus of Ohio and Co – Chairman Ohio Sportsman’s Caucus.
