Ohio Task Force On Affordability & Efficiency In Higher Education To Meet Tuesday
The Task Force will discuss administrative areas where efficiencies can be increased

Columbus—Cuyahoga Community College will host State Senator Sandra Williams (D-Cleveland) and other members of the Ohio Task Force on Affordability & Efficiency in Higher Education on Tuesday July 21st, at 10:00 am.  This will be the second public meeting of the Task Force on Affordability & Efficiency in Higher Education, which is led by Ohio State University’s Chief Financial Officer, Geoff Chatas.

The mission of the Task Force is to find innovative ways to make Ohio’s state institutions of higher education more efficient, while offering a high-quality education and decreasing costs to students and their families. The Task Force will meet several additional times before their report is due on October 1, 2015.

Williams (D-Cleveland) announced today that the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission has approved funding for the Burke Mansion community project through its cultural facilities grant program. The Cleveland Music School Settlement, which serves as the owner and operator, will use over $250,000 to replace the HVAC system at the Burke Mansion.
