Ingram Issues Statement Following Release of School District Report Cards

Today, state Senator Catherine Ingram (D-Cincinnati) issued the following statement regarding the Ohio school district report cards that the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce released:
 
“Though some ratings are better than others, it is important to remember that education is the great equalizer,” said Ingram. “We must continue to ensure that all our students have every opportunity to excel. Each day, our teachers and administrators dedicate themselves to preparing our young people for their futures—that alone is immeasurable.”
 
The report cards, which evaluate the progress of districts and schools across the state in their efforts to prepare students for the future, are released annually, providing a snapshot of student performance and school quality across the state.
