GRID Power Act Passes U.S. House Before Democrats Shut Down the Government
While Democrats shut down the government over your tax dollars funding healthcare for illegal migrants, there is one bright spot beaming from the gridlock.
The GRID Power Act was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives.
Sponsored by Congressman Troy Balderson, who is a former state senator, the bill's mission is to bring baseload power projects online faster than the current 8 years. The vote was 216 to 206 with a handful of Democrats voting for the bill. That is except for every single Democrat from Ohio's congressional delegation who aligned themselves with the out-of-touch environmental lobby. Make no mistake, the oil and gas industry remains under attack by radical special interests funded out of California.
Congressman Balderson is our guest this week on the President's Podcast.
He talks about the importance and reliability of oil and gas in Ohio, and how a new state law that was passed unanimously in the Ohio Senate will help provide the power of the future as demand increases across the Midwest.
Plus, we get his thoughts on the government shutdown and political fight on Capitol Hill.
