State Senator Teresa Fedor (D-Toledo) is pleased to announce her committee assignments for the 133rd General Assembly. Continuing her leadership in the Ohio House, Senator Fedor will serve as the ranking member on the Financial Subcommittee on Primary and Secondary Education, the Education Committee, and the Joint Education Oversight Committee.
“There is much work to be done to strengthen public education in Ohio, including expanding public pre-school opportunities” said Senator Fedor. “I will continue making it a central goal during the 133rd General Assembly that we improve the quality of education in Ohio.”
A teacher for 18 years prior to becoming a legislator, Senator Fedor has direct experience in Ohio’s schools and education system.
“I know access to a quality education is necessary for the future and wellbeing of our children in this state,” said Senator Fedor. “Ohio’s ability to stay competitive will be determined by how much we are willing to invest in them.”
Senator Fedor will also serve on the Judiciary, Government & Oversight, Insurance & Financial Institutions, and the Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee.
