Fedor Statement on Bishop Sycamore Investigation

Today, state Senator Teresa Fedor (D-Toledo) released the following statement in response to the Ohio Department of Education’s investigation into Bishop Sycamore High School:
“After reading the investigation report about Bishop Sycamore High School, I am astonished. We need guardrails to ensure this abuse of trust never happens again. Children’s education is paramount, and we should treat it as such. We must close the loopholes that allow for these types of scams to exist in our education system. I look forward to seeing further investigation from the Attorney General’s office. Our children deserve better.”
